Hi All,
I was just browsing through my backup hard drive and found several photos that I don't think I've shared on my blog before. It's possible I posted these back in the day on my old "IntoBattle" site but figured it didn't hurt to share again.
These are all 1/285th miniatures by GHQ.
Enjoy!

Wowzers! They look so sweet!
ReplyDeleteAlways liked this GHQ stuff!
Hey Tanner, I realy like the way you paint. Very impressive. I'd love to see a tutorial on how you paint your ships. Those carriers in your last post were a delight.
ReplyDeletekind regards
Jonathan
Beautifully painted as always.
ReplyDeleteJust a thought though, it would be helpful for those of us who live outside the US to have something other than a coin for size comparisons as I for one have no idea how big a quarter dollar is.
Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback.
ReplyDeleteGraham, I actually started using a push pin in my recent scale photos to help put things in better perspective. Is this more helpful? Take a look at my IJN Carrier post and you'll see what I mean; a Vallejo dropper bottle is also included in the photo. Unfortunately I no longer have these miniatures so I can't re-shoot the photos :(

Good timing Tanner ,thanks for the lastest pictures,I can use them for reference, as I am in the process of obtaining some GHQ Italian vechicles and guns used in the desert

Perfect! Glad they will be helpful!

Great stuff. Love those carrier decks. Your micro armor looks like 1/72nd scale! Would you like to exchange links to my blog?

I have already linked to you.

Please please please move to a larger scale. Your 1/285 models look much better than my larger figures and I am becoming insanely jealous of what you are able to achieve on such tiny models! Worse than that, it makes me want to get into Micro Armor in a big way, which so far I have resisted for years and years.
ReplyDeleteSo, if in spite of the great pain you are causing me you choose to continue painting these tiny figures, keep up the awesome work.
Simply gorgeous, thanks for sharing even if you have before. I could devour shots like this all day long. Amazing detail and colours from such a small scale.
ReplyDeleteYour paint jobs are ASTOUNDING!
ReplyDeleteHey Tanner, love your work I was wondering what vallejo color do you use for the Russian green and American green?
