New Years painting - Naval Miniatures

Hi all, it's been awhile since I've posted photos of my painting so I'd like to share a few items that I recently finished.  Most of these items were painted for GHQ to include in their catalog.  I'm still enjoying 1/2400 painting and I have especially been excited with how well my carrier decks have turned out.  Let me know what you think.  Thanks for looking!

F4U Corsair - There's not much contrast with the blue, so here's a shot of the underside to those the excellent GHQ detail.

AV-3 Langley - what a cool ship!!!

AV-3 Langley - Another excellent casting from GHQ

Aichi Val - trust me, the color is light grey...  it just looks light against the dark ocean background.

I'm not sure what my "next up" project is, but I'd like to get back to my never-ending Eastern Front projects.  Now that GHQ has released the sIG 33B Self Propelled gun, I have a little more motivation to paint my Stalingrad factories :)  I'd also like to resume working on carrier deck decals.  Stay tuned!

  4. Incredible work and such detail on a tiny scale. I've always been impressed with the skill you've presented every time.

  5. Clearly you are painting much larger versions of these models and hitting them with that miniaturization ray you salvaged from the UFO that crashed in your backyard. There is simply no other explanation that makes any sense.

    Awesome work. Quite literally.
