As many of you are aware, I am in the middle of moving to a new house... I am also busier than I've ever been at work and at home. As a result, I haven't produced any new decals or sold existing ones in several months.
However, they are available through a fellow naval miniatures enthusiast - Brad Anderson. Brad has rights to produce my decals and uses the same process and materials. He's also a great person to work with! If you're interested in purchasing the WW2Central line of WW2 Carrier Decals, I highly recommend purchasing from Brad.
He has an eBay store setup with the full line of decals:

World War II Cruisers and Destroyers
Wow! It's been over a month since my last post... I am ashamed.
I don't have much to expound upon or share, but I do have a few photos that I snapped of a recent set of ships that I painted: IJN CA's and DD's as well as some USN CA's and DD's (click for larger photos). They turned out very vivid... a pretty nice force!
Here's a shot of my painting process before and after the wash.
I hope everyone is having a nice summer :)

Aircraft Carrier Decal Tutorial
GHQ was kind enough to post this tutorial and link to my decal online store. This tutorial will show you a very easy way to get great results. I typically airbrush and highlight, but for those wanting a quicker paint job, this isn't too bad! Enjoy!

Hot of the press - a new "boat" load of decals!
I have been busy, very busy! In the past month or so I've added dozens of 1/2400 Aircraft Carrier Decals to my line-up. Here are several more that I finished this week and I'm in the process of test fitting them.
In most cases there are a few different variants to match historical photos or how historians guessed they looked. Some that I've added this week (not all are shown in the photo): Aquila, Graf Zeppelin, Taiho, Shoho, Zuiho, Zuiho '44, All 4 Sangamon CVE's, and Ryujo.
If you're interested in seeing what's available, click on the "Carrier Deck Decals" photo at the top of the right side bar. Let me know what you think.

GHQ 1/285th Photo Dump
Hi All,
I was just browsing through my backup hard drive and found several photos that I don't think I've shared on my blog before. It's possible I posted these back in the day on my old "IntoBattle" site but figured it didn't hurt to share again.
These are all 1/285th miniatures by GHQ.
Enjoy!

GHQ 1/2400 Naval - Akagi, Kaga, Soryu, Hiryu, Skokaku, Zuikaku
It seems that I've been in painting mood lately and I've finished quite a few things... not least of which is these Imperial Japanese Aircraft Carriers. I created some very detailed decals to make these carriers possible, and I'm very pleased with how they've turned out.
Now, bear with me while I flood you with photos...
How would history have been different if all 6 of these guys had been present at Midway?
Akagi - Nagumo's flagship
Kaga
Soryu
Hiryu
Shokaku
Zuikaku
Very clean and sharp lines on the deck. I went with a clean look, but the decks can easily be weathered after the decals are applied.
Kaga and Akagi - big and tall
Hiryu and Soryu - definitely have a smaller and lower profile
Shokaku and Zuikaku - These guys would see plenty of action even though they missed out at Midway.
Here is a good photo for scale
And to further dwarf these ships, look how small they are in comparison to a bottle of Vallejo paint! This is the Hiryu with an Atlanta class CL alongside for comparison.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy these photos. Let me know what you think. Would you buy these decals if I set up shop and made them available?

Painting for the GHQ Catalog - A few goodies
Hi All, I recently finished some painting for the GHQ Catalog and wanted to share a few photos that I took. I'm always excited for the new releases that GHQ puts out each year, the new release list is only a month or two away :)
sIG33B Self Propelled gun... introduced at Stalingrad. I was asking feverishly for this model for the past few years so I was happy to get it this year :)
Another close up...
US T-92 240mm SPG
The other side...
French Jaureguiberry... Pre-Dreadnought... what a funky little ship!
Coin and Pin for scale...
Finnish Infantry and Support - I haven't painted any Infantry in a few years; I just don't really enjoy painting it for some reason. Let me know what you think of these because I have a lot of Soviet and German Infantry to paint and I would like to know what people think of this style (minus the snow).
Thanks for looking!
